Committed to giving back

Harbes Farms has long been committed to supporting our local communities and giving back whenever possible. Whether it’s awarding annual scholarships in our local high schools, donating to charitable organizations, supporting various community events or donating produce to food banks each year, Harbes Farms believes it is important to give back to our neighbors.

Harbes Farms has donated over 250 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables to local charities across Long Island and New York State. We're proud to partner with organizations such as CAST, Island Harvest, and Feeding New York State.

Harbes Farms has donated over $1 million to charities and organizations across Long Island and the metro region. Our efforts include scholarships to local high schools and donations to fundraising events that benefit schools, PTA groups, church groups, and many other worthy organizations.

Harbes Farms is devoted to its community. We are proud to host events for local organizations such as the Boy Scouts and North Fork Community Theatre. We also provide free passes to Harbes Barnyard Adventure that can be used by patrons of our six local North Fork Libraries.

“With limited resources, The harbes team were able to pick 300,000 pounds of apples – which ended up resulting in 7 truckloads! Their generosity and determination was inspiring!”

Jim Germain, Feeding New York State

We were honored to partner with Jim Germain and his team at Feeding New York State and wholeheartedly support the good work they do.
